
Krishna Pundi, MD
Krishna Pundi, MD, is a cardiac electrophysiologist treating patients with heart rhythm disorders at the Palo Alto Veterans Affairs Medical Center and Stanford University in Palo Alto, California.
In his academic role, Dr. Pundi leads a multidisciplinary research program to combine biostatistics, novel data science approaches, and natural language processing to uncover new ways to understand the treatment of outcomes of heart rhythm disorders including atrial fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia.
He has served as the lead investigator on studies funded by the NIH, FDA, and ACC and led collaborations with large device and quality databases including AHA’s Get With the Guidelines. He has a special interest in innovation and regulatory science, leading large Think Tanks of patients, investigators, and FDA to define how we study wearable monitors and incorporate them into clinical trial monitoring.
